· Toll Free Technical Support is a hallmark of Flightline services. Our experienced customer service representatives understand the unique needs of airline crewmembers. They are trained to solve issues, not only with Flightline services, but also with end-user hardware, software and many airline applications.
In addition, Flightline’s ISP services (separate option) are designed and offered only to airline crewmembers. Flightline provides dial-up Internet access using a network of over 800 local phone connections available in most cities throughout the US and Canada. It includes up to five free email accounts with an individually customizable web-based interface. The service also has free spam control and anti-virus filtering at the server to help insure your inbox is clear of unwanted material.

Why is the company changing providers?
CompuServe has notified US Airways that they are discontinuing their crew connectivity services for US Airways crewmembers. The company explored alternatives and selected Flightline based on our CompuServe replacement experience at Delta and America West Airlines. Flightline is able to compete with CompuServe at competitive prices by delivering custom software and unique crewmember services that are continuously reviewed for enhancements.
Will my 3rd party applications (WinBid, WinLogon, etc.) work with Flightline’s network?
Since 3rd party applications typically are programmed to work only with CompuServe, they will need to be slightly modified to work with Flightline. We are working with developers in making the transition to Flightline as easy as possible. Documentation and program samples, as well as programmer-to-programmer support is available to interested parties.
Will I be able to walk up to any Windows based Internet terminal and access CATCREW?
Yes, Connector Lite, included in the free FlightCrew Connector software, will be available soon on the US Airways section of our website. With this software you will be able to access CATCREW from almost anywhere. Connector Lite may be run directly from a floppy disk or USB thumb drive.
No, you may use any ISP. That includes DSL, Cable, or dialup access from ANY ISP.
No. All crewmembers will be offered a 30 day free trial of all services starting with account activation (sign up). Thereafter, all those who subscribe to a plan will be billed by credit card on a month-to-month basis. You may cancel at anytime.
We expect to launch our services sometime in April. Brochures will be distributed to crewmembers at each base detailing step-by-step signup instructions.
